Located on the hills overlooking the medieval town of Pescia , the estate enjoys a prime location and a magnificent view of the valley and the surrounding hills. Lying 350 meters above sea level, the nature that is encountered is typical of the contact areas between the hills and the mountains. Olive trees, undisputed symbol of Tuscany, surround the property as well as the forests of oak, pine and chestnut trees that reflect the proximity to the Apennines mountains. The house has an exceptional location, nestled between the olives and the foothills of the so-called "Pescia Switzerland". These mountains were named by Jean-Charles-Léonard de Sismondi Simonde, an intellectual from Geneva, who recognized a certain similarity to his home here.
