The house is on the northeast side of the island, is bordered by a 1,000-acre mangrove forest preserve, and is on a secluded beach between two of the best resorts on the island, the Wyndham Reo Mar, and the Melia Coco Beach Resort. It is on one of the 12 Fincas (Farms) on the Las Picuas road which were protected from commercial development and boast a quiet and secluded beachfront. The beach is calm and beautiful, ideal for paddle boards, kyacks, fishing, kite sailing and more. Shaded by palms, it is a great place to hang out and picnic.
The house was originally built by a pool designer and has spectacular, resort-like outdoor areas. Tropical gardens and palm trees surround the private pool, huge in-ground hot tub/jacuzzi, bathhouse, tiki bar with pizza oven, outdoor kitchen and BBQ area.
