THE APARTMENT IS PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED AND DISINFECTED BETWEEN GUESTS ACCORDING TO THE STANDARDS SET BY THE SPANISH AUTHORITIES. THE COMMUNAL AREAS OF THE COMPLEX SUCH AS LIFTS AND SUNBEDS ARE REGULARLY DISINFECTED BY THE STAFF.
Parques Casablanca is a beautiful apartment/hotel complex in hills near La Fustera Cove between Moraira and Calpe encompassing both the freedom of an apartment holiday and the advantages of a luxury hotel just as you choose. This 3rd floor apartment (we would say 2nd floor in UK) sits atop the highest point in the complex with sweeping views across beautifully landscaped pools, down to the sea and the Rock Ifach at Calpe, with gentle green hillsides behind. There is a poolside bar (seasonal) for drinks and snacks as you relax by the lagoon pool.
On the complex is a Health Spa which has a heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, spa bath, sauna and fully equipped gymnasium. A daily or weekly pass to this can be purchased from Reception - the current price is 30 Euros per week per person or 10 Euros per day per person unlimited access. N.B. Children under the age of 10 are, unfortunately, not permitted to use the Spa facilities for health & safety reasons and children between the age of 10 and 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
The apartment is fully equipped for 6 people (with use of sofa bed) and in each the large living space is complemented by an elegant yet business like kitchen, luxury shower room with twin basins and double sized shower, and a very large terrace which serves as an extra outdoor room, and is furnished with additional dining table & chairs plus recliners. There are electrically operated awnings to offer shade if required. The apartment is smartly furnished, but comfort is our priority . . . after all - you’re on holiday!
THE PARQUES CASABLANCA COMPLEX
Security, modern technology and easy access to all areas feature highly here, along with such facilities as a manned Reception (24-hr assistance), relaxing shady Pool Bar (seasonal) for snacks and light bites and secure underground parking with lifts to upper levels.
Although this is a 2nd floor penthouse style apartments, the whole complex is wheelchair friendly with lifts, spacious walkways and wide openings. There are no keys - a swipe card grants entry to each apartment with a wave of the hand. Lights come on magically in front of you and turn themselves off again behind you. Hi-tech, yes but with a friendly feel and ease of use.
The complex is in a delightful setting above Fustera Cove, and great attention has been given to providing daytime comforts and evening magic. The pools are a special feature, and the youngest children have their own shallow paddling pool. The curved lines of this little lagoon form a centrepiece for the upper terrace. Hotel or independent apartment? Can't decide? Perhaps we have the answer.
THE APARTMENT
The Apartment is furnished along modern, clean lines, and we hope we have provided everything you will need . . and a little more. The living area is larger than in many apartments and leads onto the wide, open terrace which is furnished for both outdoor dining and just lounging on recliners in the sunshine. There are remote-controlled awnings to provide shade if required. Our inside dining table provides seating for 6 when extended, and the apartment has been fully equipped for this number of guests if required. Our sofa bed has been carefully chosen for both comfort and ease of operation, and there is somewhere to store bedlinen during the day. The bedrooms are of comfortable (almost equal) size, and provide lots of hanging space in large mirrored wardrobes with high specification fittings. The Master Bedroom opens onto the Terrace, and is next door to the creamy marble-tiled Shower Room with twin basins and over-sized shower. Bedroom 2 can be twin or double. The Kitchen has a dishwasher and has been meticulously equipped.
All windows have external electrically operated ventilated metal shutters.
BEACHES & TOWNS
The small sandy cove of La Fustera is walkable, or a couple of minutes by car with easy parking. We are reliably informed that there is good snorkeling to be had here. There is also an excellent Chinese restaurant and sophisticated beach bar/restaurant right by the sea! Just 10 - 15 mins along the Coast Road brings you to either Moraira or Calpe, each with its own style. The youngsters in your party might enjoy the buzz of Calpe, but others may be seduced by the authentic Spanish charms of Moraira with its still bustling fish market. Known as the Millionaires Playground, Moraira oozes style and character, and the evening promenade from Beach to Plaza to Marina (always filled with dazzling boats) shouldn't be missed.
There are restaurants to suit everyone and, in daytime, a choice of two good-sized, well-kept beaches, with all the facilities you would hope for. From Moraira it is only another 15 minutes drive to Javea (similar in character, but bigger, so there's more to watch) or 20 minutes would take you into the Jalon Valley with its spectacular mountain scenery . . and Bodegas for tasting the local wine. Of course you may also like to visit Benidorm's Terra Mitica Theme Park or Aqualandia . . or just stay at sandy Fustera Cove with its beach bars and restaurants.
WATER SPORTS
Club Nautico Les Bassetes is just a 20 minute walk from the apartment towards Calpe. Here you can participate in diving, sailing, snorkelling, kayaking, paddleboarding etc. They also have a good bar/restaurant called Coral Beach with tables extending outside on the rocky prominence surrounded by the sea with stunning views of Roch Ifach - recommended for breakfast! Upstairs is a more formal restaurant called Oceana Club - again with amazing views across the water to Ifach.
